Madrid photographer Alberto García-Alix was a featured artist at the Wheels and Waves gallery show in Biarritz; of course he brought his cameras, and contributes this photo essay.

Beautiful. But if these are Alix's, why is there a Vintagent watermark on each photo?

Hi Sebastian,
I watermark all photos posted on The Vintagent now, in an attempt to keep control over the poaching of my content (words and images) and that of others whose work I publish, like Alberto's. Since Alberto didn't watermark his images, I did the best I could...anyone putting his images on their website without permission will still have 'thevintagent.com' on their site!
Alberto granted permission for me to use the images, and by the title and text of the post, credit was given where due.

Great images, Alberto, Paul. I can really sense the character of the machine and the person. Really cool, much to be said for black and white....
