GENDER UNSPECIFICITY: BECAUSE ITS TRANS-PORTATION

Still the only individual to install a motorcycle in the British Museum, Grayson Perry is the role model for The Vintavagenta.
Starting today, in support of poly-gendered riders globally, TheVintavagenta claims its space as the only bias-free moto-culture website in the world. There's a side of us we've been ignoring, so it's time to get exploring, and let the Vintavagenta magenta flag fly!  As your cis-gendered scribe, my job this year is digging out bias from the previous 900 articles on TheVintavagenta.com, and each corrected piece will be featured first on my Facebook and Instagram accounts, so stay tuned!
There's 100 years of gender-neutral history yet to explore on The Vintavagenta!
But the basic idea is to have fun!

Just luvv the hefty colour matched seat belt on the Patience conveyance.
You can never be too careful riding, no matter the gender! !he dress on the putative rider we must assume is made from kevlar re-inforced tulle.

Sten, Velo-closetted no longer!

I'm not sure that's a seat belt - I think that shot was taken when his bike (the 'Kenilworth AM1') was delivered to the British Museum for his exhibit there, 'Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman'. Amusingly, Battistani's chopper shop doesn't take credit for the machine, even though they did a remarkable job building it, and it's the only motorcycle ever displayed in the British Museum! I'd advertise that far and wide, but I don't have to build choppers daily for insecure tough boys...

Adapting a tool of gender oppression - the 'beauty' pageant - in support of gender freedom is fantastically wrong-headed; the problem is the pageant, not the entrants. I have a hard enough time with Concours d'Elegance, but accept the justification that we're preserving history in supporting 'correct' restoration. That said, I have a cis-gender niece who was Miss Teen California; I can't see what pageants preserve but a sexist status quo.

Yes, Paul,

But I'll be very un-PC and steal the lady's cammy AJS above anytime!!!

Uh oh ..Political 'correct'ness has just crept in as well . Damn ! Just when I was about to ask if the reason for Barbie's extra girth and sudden interest in custom motorcycles was due to ' Ken ' possibly having become a 1%er . But alas ... now I'm afraid I'll get blipped into the virtual netherworld for having ' crossed ' the line with my inquiry . Oh well . At least censorship on behalf of political correctness is better than being ..... ' Trumped '

I nominate Michelle Duff as the chief arbiter of cis-gender correctness...The lady could and did ride with the best of them. Wait a minute, maybe that's trans-gender? I'm getting confused here. What the hell, does it matter?
